The first project we ever worked on was a live performance shoot for their series Untitled. I've never been very comfortable in front of the camera, but I was immediately put at ease by the kindness and candor of Kodak and D'Juan. They thoughtfully worked with my comfort level, making me feel confident and assured throughout the process. Being filmed and photographed shifted from something daunting to something I genuinely looked forward to.
A standout moment with DKD was a live event we partnered on where I performed as the headliner, complete with food and merch vendors, as well as DKD’s media team. They handled all of the details including some of their own promotion and outreach, which played a huge role in selling out the event. To say it was a success would be an understatement, and I knew then that partnering with DKD could only be fruitful for my career.
